Varsity Baseball 

Over the weekend, the Pilots traveled down to Ohio where they won 2 out of 3 games. On Friday, they drove to Cincinnati and split 2 games against St. Xavier.  In game one Andrew Gingle (Sr) pitched three scoreless and recorded 2 hits for the offense. Donnie Hopp (Jr) had 2 hits in the game. The Pilots jumped out to a 4-0 lead but couldn't hold on and fell 7-4 in the opener.  In game two the Pilots came out on top with a 6-4 victory. AJ Slavko fanned 4 and gave the Pilots a much-needed strong effort on the mound. Maddog Motowski pitched 3 scoreless innings in relief to earn the win. Mason Pilarski (So) had 3 hits to lead the Pilots' offensive attack. Adam Broski (Sr) and Donnie Hopp (Jr) had 2 hits each.

Saturday the Pilots traveled to Dayton and took down Archbishop Carroll 17-3. Brady Pellegrom (Jr) pitched three strong innings to earn the win. Offensively, the Pilots racked up 18 hits. Jackson Bodis (Jr) led the way, blasting two home runs and tallying five RBI. Colin D'Hondt (Sr) went 4-4 on the day. Jonathan Opolski (Sr); Andrew Gingle (Sr); Adam Broski (Sr) and Aamir Mitchell all recorded multiple hits. DLS improves to 3-2 to start the season. Way to go, Pilots!
