Swimming

It was a great day at the Macomb County Meet for our Pilots who finished 4th overall! Here are the Pilots top performers:

Jacob Anderson 2nd in 200 Freestyle 

Michael Saad 5th in the 200-yard Individual Medley

Michael Slusser 4th in 50 freestylers.

Senior Derrick Braxton took 7th in diving.

Michael Saad took 2nd in 100 Butterfly and 7th in the 100 Freestyle. 

Jacob Anderson took 1st place in the Butterfly, qualifying for the STATE MEET.

Jacob Anderson, Luke Horlocker, Bryce Sanderson, and Jacob Bowl finished 7th in the 200 Freestyle.

John Griffith finished 8th in the 100 backstroke.

Michael Voronenko finished 4th 100 Breaststroke 

The team of Slusser, Griffith, Saad, and Anderson finished in 4th in the 400 relay.

Wrestling

The Pilots had a great showing at the CHSL League Tournament over the weekend. The team finished the day in second place as a team. Individually, the Pilots crowned 3 champions, 3 Runner-ups, and 7 place winners.

Hockey

The hockey team had two great wins over the weekend. In both games, they won 3-2 with each ending with shootouts. 

In the first game vs Grand Rapids Christian they went down early 2-0 in the first period. But they came flying back with goals from Jerome Sciturro and Keegan James in the third period to tie the game.  Brady DesMadryl, Keegan James, and Colton Fuqua scored in the shootout to complete the comeback. 

In game two vs Traverse City Central the Pilots had goals netted by Jerome Sciturro and Dylan Blackwood.  Colton Fuqua scored the lone shootout goal, and Ben Vanderdonck stopped all 3 TCC shooters for the win. Congrats Pilots!

Basketball 

Varsity basketball had a tough loss to U of D 66-46 Friday night.  JV won in a hard-fought game 38-33 and Freshmen also won 53-34.

-All 3 Basketball teams finish the regular season league play with games Tuesday at CC.  

Freshmen @4pm                     JV @ 5:30 pm                           Varsity @ 7 pm.  

-Varsity Bowling plays Divine Child @ Sterling Lanes at 3:30 pm

-Varsity Swimming competes @ Eisenhower at 6:00 pm

Wednesday:

-Varsity Wrestling is in a meet @ Warren Woods Mott High School at 5:00 pm.

Thursday:

-Varsity Bowling plays Brother Rice @ Bowl One Center at 3:30 pm.

-Varsity Hockey plays Port Hurn Northern @ McMorran Ice Arena at 6:00 pm. 

-Varsity Swimming competes vs U of D @ Warren Woods Tower at 6:00 pm. 

Friday:

-Varsity Swimming competes in the MISCA @ Calvin College at 4:00 pm.

Saturday:

-Varsity Wrestling competes in the MHSAA Individual Districts @ Groves HS at 9:00 am. 

-Varsity Bowling competes in the Heartbreaker Bakers @ 5 Star Lanes at 8:00 am.

-Varsity Hockey has Senior Night and takes on GPN at 2:15 pm @ Mt. Clemens Ice Arena.  

-Varsity Swimming continues MISCA @ Calvin College starting at 10:00 am.
