BASKETBALL

This past Friday our Varsity basketball team lost another tight Central Division game 54-52 to U of D.  They are now 6-4 overall and 1-2 in the league.   

Our JV basketball won 45-32 U of D. Isiah Jones had 9 points to help the JV improve to 8-1 overall and 2-1 in the league. 

Our Freshmen team had a great win vs U of D 59-40.  Congrats to Andrew Larimer who was the team's hard hat winner. They improve to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the league. 

This week all three teams continue league play with games at home today vs Catholic Central.

WRESTLING

The wrestling team traveled up to Imlay City this weekend for a team tournament. The boys finish the weekend 5-2.  The Pilots were led by Vinny Lertola, Gjon Nikollaj, and Easton Smerek, all going 5-0 on the weekend. The Pilots are now 15-3 on the season. 

The team travels to Chippewa Valley this Thursday for a quad me starting at 5 pm.

HOCKEY

The Pilot Hockey team was off over the long weekend.  They get back on the ice this Friday and Saturday as they travel to Grand Rapids to take on Byron Center HS and Grand Rapids Catholic Central.

BOWLING

Our bowlers competed in the Macomb County Championships this weekend. In the team event, the Varsity Bowlers qualified 14th for match play and lost a heartbreaker to Dakota in a 3-game baker match in the round of 16. 521-520.

In the singles event, James Walter qualified 23rd for match play with a 4-game total of 796 which included a 223 game. He was defeated in the round of 32 by Jacob Obdsinski of Armada 181-174.

Today they resume league play against Brother Rice at 3:30 pm @ Fraser Star Lanes. Good luck, bowling!
