The Pilots varsity soccer program (6-3-3, 2-0-2 Catholic League Central Division) remains undefeated in Catholic League play, after Thursday's 3-2 victory over Detroit Catholic Central.

De La Salle went down, 1-0, within the first 10:00, but rebounded and managed to score two goals before halftime. Both first-half goals came courtesy of junior Zach Femminineo -- the first goal was assisted by junior Dean Oakie and the second came off a corner kick from senior Marco Foltz.

In the second half, senior Joe Nunner made it 3-1 in favor of the Pilots, off another corner kick from Foltz. Catholic Central scored with 4:00 left to make it a one-goal game, but that was it for the Shamrocks and the Pilots held on for the 3-2 victory.

Next up for the Pilots is a contest with Lake Orion High School at 4 p.m. Friday.
